What are Changes in 2020 Hyundai Creta Model?

Hyundai is already celebrating the success of Creta in the Indian market and the upcoming Auto Expo in February 2020, a second generation of Hyundai SUV will be revealed. Hyundai is using premium cylinder liners for engine, which is why the performance reports of the vehicles are satisfactory. Cosmetic Changes

The 2020 Hyundai Creta is released at the Chinese markets with a name ix25. The new SUV model has a split headlight design that is followed by the same to the taillights. The new Hyundai Creta looks bigger with its grown dimensions. The manufacturer has given a new dual-tone alloy wheel and square wheel arches.

Consumers will get a fresh dashboard design and a new multi-function steering wheel. They can also expect new leather upholstery and revised instrument cluster in the SUV model.

Feature Update

The new updated features list will include large touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink Technology. This makes the Creta exclusive model when compared with its rivals as it offers remote start/stop/horn/climate control/door lock/light control, remote real time traffic data/destination transfer/destination set in link with Schedule and Vehicle theft, etc.

There will be a 360 degree camera, ambient lighting, LED Headlamps, power adjustable front passenger seat, dual zone climate control, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors, and more.

BS6 Engines

The second generation Creta will have 1.5L petrol and diesel BS6 engines which are also used in Kia Seltos. However, the power output is not yet revealed by the Hyundai. The Kia Seltos petrol engine power output comes at 115 bhp and 144 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine of Creta produces 115 bhp and 250 Nm of torque with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The manual 6-speed transmission comes as standard.

7 Seater Creta SUV

Usually, the SUVs mainly come with 5 seats, but since the competition is getting stiff, new Hyundai Creta might have a 7-seat arrangement with an additional 3rd row. This design of Creta SUV directly competes with Mahindra XUV500, Toyota Innova Crysta, and Tata Hexa.

Pricing

The updated model of Creta has new BS6 engines having high quality cylinder liners, which will affect the costing of the car. Moreover, new styling on the exteriors and interiors are also going make the car pricier. At present, the ongoing model starts at INR 10 Lakh and top-end model will cost you around INR 15.66 Lakh.

In the Auto Expo 2020, most big automobile companies will be there and launch their new products. The brands include Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Honda Cars India, Hyundai Cars India, Bajaj Auto India, Hero Motorcorp, Mahindra and Mahindra, Mahindra Electric Vehicles, Kawasaki India, Kia, Yamaha India, etc. The event will start from 7th February till 12 February 2020.
