A Distribution transformer is generally a step down an electrical transformer that converts a high voltage electric current into a low voltage electric current that is suitable for use in houses and some small industries. The distribution transformer, in an electrical circuit, is used for the last voltage transformation needed for the electric power distribution. That means the electrical power is transmitted through the Power transformers India, at least once, before it can be supplied to the consumers. The Coil is a conductor, generally, a thin wire winding made up of a low resistance metal, for example, copper or aluminum. The Copper or aluminum wires are twisted around the magnetic core of the transformer, which is generally made up of steel having specific properties, to convert current having high voltage into low voltage. A Fluid insulation material or air (dry-type) encompasses the core of transformer and it’s conducting wires to cool them and electrically protect the transformer.
