Ayurvedic Remedies for Stomach Pain

Stomach pain is a common problem across all age groups. From a small baby to an elderly grandfather, our stomachs have expe-rienced aches and pains at different points of our life. The pain is, of course, a symptom of an underlying cause. In most cases, stomach pains go away as soon as the underlying problem is resolved. Asafoetida: This is again a very popular remedy for children, especially babies who cannot always take pain relieving solutions. Just make a paste of asafoetida with water and apply it around the belly button. This is believed to relieve stomach ache caused by gas. You can also warm it in a spoon, mix it into some milk and drink it. This is also very effective in pain relief.

Anardhana: Mix some peppercorn powder and black salt with anardhana(pomegranate seeds). Make a paste with few drops of water. This is very effective in pain relief.

Neem, tulsi and ginger: Take equal quantities of neem seeds, saunth (dried ginger) and tulsi leaves. Make a paste with a little water and peppercorn powder. Take this paste for pain relief.
